About me
Hello! My name is Elena Ovchynnikova, I'm a pastry chef! I'm 35 years old, I have 3 kids, I'm divorced and very happy. I'm the founder and teacher of the "ARDO" online academy, and I have my own pastry studio.
My journey
I've always believed that I was born to bring something useful into this world, teach something, share experiences!

I really wanted to be a good example for my daughters, so they'd be proud of me, so they'd have a positive, happy, and energetic mother by their side!

With time I got to understand that back then I wasn't ready for it, my little kids needed me, and I was supposed to depend on my husband financially, learn everything by myself and gain experience.

After giving birth, I wanted to be a breastfeeding consultant, I helped my parents with their flower business, I planned weddings, I did network marketing,
I made video reviews of toys, wrote recipes for the website and I was also the director of a children's center.
Education

One day I decided to learn how to bake macarons for my kids and myself. I tried recipes from YouTube, but nothing worked. I went to a few masterclasses and only after that they came out like they should. For 2 years I was a home baker. It got uncomfortable home, so I decided to open my own studio!

My parents are the ones who supported me the most through my journey. They helped me out with building the studio. I worked alone for the first half of the year at the studio, and when things got really hard they came to help me.

Now I have my 3 little helpers - my daughters. They love helping around in the kitchen, and they take care of me when I'm really tired. The oldest one already dreams of becoming a pastry chef. I'm very grateful for my family.
Family

My job is my fourth child! There are four pastry chefs and an administrator working alongside, helping me prepare orders and helping in the studio.

I'm working everyday (excluding filming days or days when we have webinars) and I don't feel like myself
if I don't do something throughout the day.

And I love every detail about my job! I love getting orders and I love getting pictures of your cakes.
Realization

Realization
Masterclasses
I've held more than 100 masterclasses offline in 4 years, helping beginner pastry chefs. I've held masterclasses on how to prepare cakes, macarons, sliced cakes, and mousse cakes.
My own Academy
I'm the founder of the Academy of successful pastry chefs. I created the course "I am a happy pastry chef", where I gathered recipes of the most delicious and easy to make desserts. In my course I teach how to prepare and decorate desserts, take pictures of them, and sell them!
